Global Rescue provides real-time access to some of the best physicians in the world to assist in diagnosis and treatment of member illness and injuries. If an in-patient hospitalization occurs and a member requests transport, Global Rescue will deploy personnel and empower the member to decide when and where to transport. If no hospital is reasonably available, Global Rescue will provide and/or arrange for field-rescue of the member. Global Rescue also facilitates the provision of security and other essential services to members when they need it most. No other membership program compares.

The problem with health and travel insurance - If you're hospitalized while traveling and think your health insurance, travel insurance or platinum card will provide you with sound medical advice or cover your transfer from a care facility abroad to your home hospital or the domestic hospital of your choice, think again. Most travel and health insurance programs will NOT pay for your transport home. They will decide when, where and how. If you are transferred, it is likely you won't go home.
