{"id":49748,"date":"2018-11-05T12:36:00","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T12:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.globalrescue.com\/apoplejia-en-zimbabue\/"},"modified":"2018-11-05T12:36:00","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T12:36:00","slug":"apoplejia-en-zimbabue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.globalrescue.com\/es\/common\/blog\/detail\/stroke-in-zimbabwe\/","title":{"rendered":"Apoplej\u00eda en Zimbabue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>John y Brenda Marsh en 2018 disfrutando de la pesca oce\u00e1nica en Spanish Well, Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p> <\/em><\/p>\n<p>En mayo de 2017, John Marsh estaba de viaje en Zimbabue cuando sufri\u00f3 un derrame cerebral.  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, Brenda, la esposa de John, escribi\u00f3 a Global Rescue:<\/p>\n<p>\u00abTras el ictus de John, Global Rescue entr\u00f3 en acci\u00f3n.  &nbsp;Cada d\u00eda, Global Rescue trabajaba para hacer llegar la informaci\u00f3n pertinente al Johns Hopkins, asegur\u00e1ndose de que la atenci\u00f3n a John fuera la mejor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abJohn no s\u00f3lo sufri\u00f3 un derrame cerebral, sino que entr\u00f3 en contacto con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/meningitis\/bacterial.html\">meningitis bacteriana<\/a>, sepsis, estafilococos y un superbicho CRE.  Tambi\u00e9n tuvo una hemorragia estomacal.  En aquel momento, no entend\u00eda lo enfermo que estaba.  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00abGlobal Rescue no se separ\u00f3 de m\u00ed durante las siete semanas que John permaneci\u00f3 en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en \u00c1frica. Cuando lleg\u00f3 el momento de regresar a Estados Unidos, el viaje de John dur\u00f3 48 horas.   &nbsp;Lleg\u00f3 al Aeropuerto Internacional de Kansas City el 18 de junio de 2017: el D\u00eda del Padre y mi cumplea\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abJohn a\u00fan no estaba fuera de peligro.  &nbsp;Permaneci\u00f3 en la UCI y en otros hospitales durante siete semanas m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEsto es lo mejor: hemos llegado a un punto en el que los m\u00e9dicos nos permiten hacer viajes entre terapia y terapia.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEstoy muy agradecida a Global Rescue por hacer que este catastr\u00f3fico suceso fuera lo m\u00e1s tolerable posible.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora tenemos Global Rescue 24\/7\/365 d\u00edas al a\u00f1o\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 563px;\" title=\"JohnMarsh2\" src=\"\/grcom\/grmkt_resources\/images\/Media-blog-images\/JohnMarsh2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<em>&nbsp;John y Brenda Marsh<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En mayo de 2017, John Marsh estaba de viaje en Zimbabue cuando sufri\u00f3 un derrame cerebral.
