Tras recibir un alivio m\u00ednimo con el tratamiento inicial de un m\u00e9dico del campamento, su estado persisti\u00f3 y fue evacuada en helic\u00f3ptero a un hospital de Maun. Se le diagnostic\u00f3 gastritis aguda, pas\u00f3 la noche en observaci\u00f3n y mejor\u00f3 antes de ser dada de alta al d\u00eda siguiente.
