Dr. Sears is responsible for overseeing and leading medical operations at Global Rescue.  She is currently a Colonel in the USAF and serves as Medical Director of the Family Health Clinic, 99th Healthcare Operations Squadron.  Previously, Dr. Sears has served as Chief of Medical Staff and Family Physician at military treatment facilities across the world.  Dr. Sears is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Physician and a Certified Physician Executive.  She received her DO from Western University of Health Sciences and CPE from the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Dr. Tenerowicz is responsible for overseeing and leading medical operations at Global Rescue. He has trained as an emergency room physician and has two decades of experience as a practicing physician at hospitals in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Dr. Tenerowicz is currently a Major in the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps and has done three tours of duty in the Middle East. His deployments include service in Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq in 2002, 2004 and 2007, respectively, where he treated both combat and non-combat related injuries and illnesses and managed medical evacuation procedures and operations.

Previously, Dr. Tenerowicz served as a Flight Physician for the University of Massachusetts Life Flight helicopter medical evacuation team.

Dr. Tenerowicz is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College where he was a Presidential Fellow and played hockey. He received his MD from the Brown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Johnson is responsible for overseeing and leading medical operations at Global Rescue. Dr. Johnson is an expert in wilderness and altitude medicine. He is a past President of the Wilderness Medical Society and has served on the organization’s Board of Directors since 2006. Dr. Johnson also serves on the Board of Directors of the Himalaya Rescue Association and has served as a volunteer physician at Mt. Everest ER, the medical tent located at Mt. Everest Basecamp.

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Mr. Kamal is responsible for global Information Technology at Global Rescue which includes software application development and IT infrastructure. He joined Global Rescue from SPS Inc., where he worked as head of software development. Previously, Mr. Kamal taught for ten years at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) of Pakistan as a member of the computer science faculty and led the IBM technologies lab.

Previously, Ms. Formanek held senior accounting and finance positions at the Orvis Co. and was the Chief Financial Officer of AI Squared. She began her career at KPMG in the Private Business Advisory Services group and is the founder of a private accounting firm that she led for over a decade. She currently serves on the board of the Vermont Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a member of the Handel Society at Dartmouth College.

Mr. Richards joined Global Rescue in 2004 and was responsible for overseeing business development and special projects. His prior experience included over 25 years as a real estate developer in various locations throughout the Northeastern United States where he identified, funded and developed real estate projects focused on the vacation, leisure and travel segments. Mr. Richards was among the first real estate developers to complete projects at major New England ski areas, including Killington Mountain and Sugarbush Mountain. Previously, Mr. Richards worked in human resources at Citigroup Inc. and the General Electric Company. Prior to that, he served in the United States Marine Corps. Ms. Roth joined Global Rescue from Holland and Knight, LLP, an international law firm, where she was an attorney in the firm’s corporate litigation practice. Dr. Seid joined Global Rescue in 2004 and is responsible for overseeing worldwide medical operations. His prior experience includes over 25 years as a Board-Certified practicing surgeon. Dr. Seid has served as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Southern California and as the Chief of Staff of St. John’s Hospital, a medical center on the West-Side of Los Angeles. During his career as a surgeon, Dr. Seid has treated, operated and advised on a wide variety of diseases, abnormalities and injuries.
Previously, Dr. Seid founded Millennium Medical, a developer of puncture-resistant protective surgical garments and OR Technologies, a manufacturer of fire reduction and suppressive systems for operating room environments.

Mr. Hume is responsible for overseeing medical, security, and intelligence operations at Global Rescue. Mr. Hume spent over 20 years in the United States Army where he earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and led conventional, special operations and critical planning units. Key assignments included serving as an Executive Officer in the National Airborne Operations Center and the Chief Operations Officer of the 3rd Brigade 25th Infantry Division. Mr. Richards has served as the chief executive officer of Global Rescue since he founded the company in 2004. He also serves as the president of Crisis Services Company, a Vermont-based captive insurance company. Mr. Richards has been a featured speaker on CNN, Fox News, NPR and other major media outlets regarding crisis response, mitigation and travel risk management topics. He currently serves on the U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board at the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the lead director of the board of Re:wild, a science-based environmental conservation organization, is an ambassador for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team, and a global member of the World Travel and Tourism Council. Prior to founding Global Rescue, Mr. Richards spent a decade in the private equity and financial services industries. Mr. Richards is a graduate of Middlebury College. He received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where he has served as an entrepreneur-in-residence.
