Created by the world’s leading provider of medical, security, evacuation and travel risk management services, The Global Rescue photo contest began in 2013 to showcase some of the amazing expeditions and journeys travelers — many our longtime members — take each year.
2021’s contest theme was resilience, a testament to traveler tenacity during this unprecedented time — with four photo categories that tackled “togetherness,” “landscape,” “outdoor activity,” and “animal travel companion(s).” Eight winners took home a plethora of prizes provided by sponsors and Safe Travel Partners, as well as Global Rescue travel protection membership.
A birthday celebration with special meaning, an Icelandic volcanic eruption under the Northern Lights and a man and his money-making camel are just a few of the captions describing the sensational snaps.
